Welcome to Orange Tree House where we specialise in making your wedding day or function one to truly remember.

Although we have been delighting the taste buds of the Northern Ireland public for almost 30 years, we are entering into a very exciting phase with the opening of our new venue on the shores of the stunning Strangford Lough in the pretty, historic village of Greyabbey.

Simon Shaw and Jan Hollinger bought Orange Tree House over 5 years ago with the dream of restoring the beautiful stone church, dating from the 1820's, and transforming it into a luxurious wedding and event venue. The restoration is now complete with bookings already being taken.

The venue is purpose made to accommodate weddings, private functions, exhibitions, conferences and musical evenings etc. With their combined experience in the event and catering industries Simon and Jan will take time to discuss your wishes and requirements then come up with a comprehensive plan that enables you to sit back, relax and enjoy your day.

Take a look at our 'WEDDINGS' page for more details.

For over 30 years Simon has been involved in the restaurant trade. Having trained in the finest hotels and restaurants across Northern Ireland, London, Switzerland and France, he then owned his own restaurant, Sullivans of Holywood, for 15 years. He specialised in catering throughout the country at venues such as Clandeboye Courtyard, Mount Stewart, Larchfield, Campbell College and Castleward, to name a few.

Orange Tree House now incorporates the well respected Sullivans Event Catering.

Jan has been involved in the tourism, events and hospitality sectors for many years, working for prestigious companies such as British Airways and the National Trust and has a vast amount of experience as a wedding co-ordinator and front of house manager.

Together they ensure that your wedding or function is a seamless and top quality event to be proud of.

The last few dates for the cookery school are online now, sadly these will be the last ones we will be doing.
